[Emmy the Great]
"All of the stupid things you've done, I know and I'm telling everyone 'cause you're not my best friend anymore."Alexander the Great, Charles the Great - The Greats of history have come to be known as such for their huuuuge...tracts of land, but Emmy the Great, as far as I know, is no real estate fiend. Rather, this "the Great" has captured hearts in her conquests. It's simple really - think of all the words you can use to describe a basket of puppies or kittens, maybe even both, and what you just described is Emmy the Great - at least if you have a heart and are capable of love. For all her sweetness though, the London-based songstress isn't exactly all lollipops and gumdrops. With songs concerning subjects like being a vengeful ex-BFF and a sad, post-breakup girl, I think it's fair to say Emmy's a bit of a sugarcoater - like any of us mind. Swallow some sugar and gulp this medicine down kids...
