[Matt & Kim]
Now I can't say for sure that Matt and Kim are together, but they sure do compose tunes like (not so) star-crossed lovers. This duo hails from Brooklyn, and unlike other two-some Mates of State, the gal heeds the drums, while the guy keys the board and vocalizes. When I first found out about these guys, it was said that it looked like they held concerts in random houses, so I checked it out. I saw Matt and Kim...in living rooms. Personally, I wouldn't mind hearing Yea Yeah pump out of my house. With a commanding drum beat and dazeful keys, I really wouldn't mind hearing Yea Yeah pumping out of anywhere.
