[Bishop Allen - July]
Can You Guess What Post I Stole This Frame From?

Ah it's that (and if you're a gal, that other) time of the month again, if you're not familiar with Bishop Allen's plans for this year, it goes like this - Bishop Allen is a band that hails from Brooklyn, and took a nice hiatus shortly after their debut hit Charm School in order to write their (currently) label-less album Clementines. As that album strolls about waiting for release, they're going to distribute an EP every month for a year - yes, every month. Well it's seven months now into their EP-A-Month project, and these storytellers' latest, July, is proving to be one of my favorites thus far. July follows the deameanor they held back in Charm School with songs like Click Click Click Click (I think its four clicks, but who's counting). Click to the fourth is just playful and frolicky - ah, Bishop Allen, how is it that you can just balloon twist our emotions into just about whatever you want. I think everyone is taking in bets to see just how long until some camera commercial picks this giddy up for play - I'm gonna say three months. Be sure to head about to Bishop Allen's site and pick up at least one EP; it's only five bucks for each month, so don't be a Poorie McCheapskate. Plus, if you actually go to their store, it'll be sure to inform you if your cart is lonely, and no one wants a lonely cart.
