14 Iced Bears
Veering away from, but undoubtedly affected by the punk era that was the '70s, 14 Iced Bears were the original pop-punk gods. Think not of the lame pop-punk you hear on the radio and MTV; think instead of fuzzy, melodic, catchy tunes, all infused with punk attitude and feel. Although it has been over twenty years since their birth and fourteen since their demise, 14 Iced Bears still deserve to be commemorated for the great psych music they created in the '80s. No band since has been able to connect pop and punk in the same way. Don't forget 14 Iced Bears!
